How to use Random Group Generator

Should I choose a number of groups or people per group?
Enter 2 to 100 groups when you know the number you need; it cannot exceed the participant count. Choose people per group when the group size matters.
What if the participant count does not divide evenly?
By group count, group sizes differ by no more than one person. By people per group, the final group may be smaller.
Can I make a new arrangement from the same list?
Yes. Select Make groups again to reshuffle the list and create a new arrangement. The same arrangement may happen again by chance.
Are groups balanced by skill level?
No. This tool assigns names randomly and does not use skill or level ratings. It only adjusts group sizes to match your selected setup.
