Enter one student per line, set the number of rows and seats per row, then select Assign seats. Extra seats appear empty. Copy the plan or download it as a CSV file. Up to 144 seats are supported.

How can I quickly make a classroom seating chart?
Add the student names, set the number of rows and seats per row, then select Assign seats. Names are placed randomly in the selected seats.
What if there are fewer students than seats?
Any extra seats appear as empty in the chart. If the number of students is greater than the total seat count, increase the rows or seats per row.
Can I reshuffle students to make a new seating arrangement?
Yes. Select Assign seats again with the same list to create a new random arrangement. The tool does not track previous layouts.
Can I copy or download the classroom seating chart?
Yes. Copy the result or download a CSV file with the row, seat, and student name for each place.
